A1. The National Zoological Park is located in the heart of New Delhi, right next to the Old Fort (Purana Qila).
A2. The zoo is divided into sections like mammal pens, reptile house, aviaries, butterfly park, elephant & chimpanzee enclosures, aquarium etc.

A4. The zoo is open from 9 am to 4 pm on weekdays and till 5 pm on weekends. The entry fee is ?40 for Indians and ?200 for foreign nationals.
A5. Yes, battery operated golf carts are available to make touring this huge zoo easy, at a nominal charge.
A6. Outside food is not allowed. There are eateries inside for meals. Carrying water bottles is permitted.
